Rainbow Resource Group
West Bergen Mental Healthcare proudly announces the formation of the Rainbow Resource Group.
This innovative and exciting new service is being offered to both the public and community organizations in response to their enormous outreach to us regarding mental health questions and requests related to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning issues.
The Rainbow Resource Group is composed of:
- A seasoned group of West Bergen mental health professionals with extensive knowledge and experience providing mental health services and guidance to the LGBTQ community.
- An active and dedicated Advisory Board composed of appointed members from school systems, corporations, businesses, and organizations representing the wider LGBTQ community. The board is committed to better serving and supporting the RRG program.
Rainbow Resource Group members are available for consultation with individuals, families, or organizations, ranging from school systems to employers to non-profits and other organizations.
Rainbow Resource Group members are also available for group discussions, speaker support, and community programs.
We are pleased to announce a new support group for the LGBTQ+ community, which is the brainchild of the Rainbow Resource Group. Clients between the ages of 16-20 are welcome to join the group. Existing clients should be referred to Michela Tripodi or Brielle Senft. Those who are not existing West Bergen consumers are asked to call the Access Department at 201-485-7172 and schedule an intake.
The LGBTQ+ Support Group will begin on Monday June 11, 2018 at 6:45pm at 120 Chestnut Street, Ridgewood.
