Coronavirus (Covid-19) Update
West Bergen Mental Healthcare is monitoring
information about the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Here’s How We’re Helping Our Clients Through This Crisis:
- Face to face contact with outpatient clients has been suspended to ensure their safety as well as that of our staff. Clients will be able to continue receiving the therapeutic services they need through online tele-therapy technology. CLICK HERE FOR TELE-THERAPY INSTRUCTIONS. - West Bergen’s on-site Partial Care program that serves the chronically mentally ill population has been suspended temporarily. Our Partial Care team is working hard to effectively help manage client medication and ensure the needs of these clients are met.
- Our Residential team has suspended all outside trips as well as visitors to West Bergen’s 7 group homes to minimize risk and keep clients safe. Staff are in regular communication with each other about clients and have developed plans to keep them stable and secure.
- We are beginning to take calls from the families we serve through our school based programs, providing them with a ‘’warm line’’ that allows parents and families to talk with a licensed therapist and ask questions, get suggestions and ideas on how to manage the many thoughts and feelings kids are experiencing.
