For many of us, November is a time to reflect on the good in our lives. As Thanksgiving nears and we prepare to celebrate our gratitude, we asked some of our West Bergen staff members to share their thoughts on what they are most thankful for.

I am most thankful for my family, especially my baby boy, Jack. I am also thankful to be able to manage working a few days a week with taking care of my family.

Katelyn Ihne

Per Diem Therapist

I am thankful for my family, friends and a wonderful place to work with warm and caring staff.

Karen Acker

Administrative Director

I am truly thankful for my amazing children and family. And also for my wonderful friends and co-workers, and all the blessings, big and small, in my life.

Robyn Smentkowski

Facilities Coordinator

I am most thankful for the people in my life, family, friends, and co-workers. I am thankful for the traditions that my family maintains, especially spending time together preparing for the holidays. I am thankful for the work that I do and those who I help. I am thankful for each day that I have a roof over my head and friends and family to bring joy to my life.

Michela Tripodi M.A., L.P.C.

I am thankful for my family and for all their love and support. I am also thankful for West Bergen for providing me with the opportunity and support needed to complete my degree and graduate from Purdue University in December!.

Lexi Feldsott

Intern

I have always loved the Ghandi quote, “Be the change you want to see in the World.” I am so grateful for my position at West Bergen that allows me to be a better person, and practice kindness and empathy in my work while also maintaining and embracing  my personality.

Melinda Sohval, RN

Nurse Practitioner

I am thankful and reflective about a few things this year! First, for the entire West Bergen staff family who spend so much time and energy working to improve the lives of our clients. Second, for the clients themselves, who put their trust in us and who also work each and every day to feel better. Finally, I am thankful for my partner and family, and for my friends who have shown me how they, too, are truly family!

Michael Tozzoli, LCSW

Chief Executive Officer

I am thankful for the wonderful team that I am part of in the Social Discovery program! We are immensely thankful for being part of West Bergen to serve the community!

Richard Miller, LPC, NCC
