Art therapy is a specialized area of mental health that uses art materials and the creative process to explore emotions, reduce anxiety, increase self-esteem, and resolve other psychological conflicts. The Partial Care consumers at West Bergen Mental Healthcare have used their creations in art therapy group to provide the community with a special Art Show at the Stable in Ridgewood every year. This year because of COVID-19, they were unable to showcase their talents, so they put their heads together and came up with this solution.
For the past few months, Chrissie Lijoi, Development Coordinator and one of our social media contributors has been posting these masterpieces on our Social Media pages … Instagram, Facebook and Twitter
Please click on the Virtual Art Show or watch the slideshow on this page, and enjoy!
