The Substance Abuse Treatment Program at West Bergen Mental Healthcare provides alcohol/drug abuse evaluation and outpatient treatment services for individuals, couples and families who have been affected by substance abuse.
In a supportive and confidential atmosphere, our program provides psychotherapy and psycho-education utilizing evidence based practice approaches, aimed at helping people struggling with addiction issues to regain control of their lives.
An integrated treatment approach is also utilized with consumers identified as having a co-occurring psychiatric disorder.
Two complimentary tracks for treatment, Discovery and Recovery, are available to accommodate a client’s needs.
The Discovery Track focuses primarily on guiding the individual toward self-examination of their use of substances and increasing motivation to change.
The Recovery Track is geared to individuals who self-identify as having a Substance Use Disorder focusing on early recovery issues, relapse prevention and skill building.
