THE SOAR EXPERIENCE
To serve as a resource for program participants (including CITs) regarding health-related issues such as self care, medication, health and wellness promotion. Coordinates all aspects of medication monitoring and documentation. Coordinates and performs all aspects of medication administration. Oversees management of food provision. Works with program staff and CITs to plan and provide daily snacks and one lunch per week. Responsible to coordinate snack and meal preparation and clean up. Available to work 31 hours per week or share the 31 week position with another nurse from July 10 – August 18, 2017 and available for up to 35 hours (shared if applicable with second nurse) of pre-Soar training and/or preparation. Requirements; R.N. license; prior experience in mental health setting; two years experience working with children. Current American Red Cross Standard First Aid-level Training or equivalent; American Red Cross or American Heart Association CPR certification.
